The north Norfolk village of Thursford is 1 mile from the A148 road, between the towns of Fakenham and Holt. The village is famous for the Thursford Collection, an attraction that includes old-fashioned fairground rides, mechanical organs and steam engines. During November and December Thursford hosts its Christmas Spectacular, an immensely popular event that attracts visitors from afar.
